On Wednesday October 7, Cora left with 3K Management on a study trip to Vilnius, Lithuania, a unique and authentic destination!
She briefly takes you on this trip and the cool places she visited: “On Wednesday we boarded an Air Baltic plane to Vilnius. Upon arrival, we viewed Radisson’s Airport Hotel, where we enjoyed lunch. After lunch we left for the hotel where we would stay: Radisson Blue Hotel Lietuva. At the end of the afternoon a guided walk through the old town was planned and we visited the Senatoriu Pasazas Historical Mansion. After the walking tour we drove by bus back to the hotel where a luxurious dinner was served.
Thursday morning we left for the Lukiskes Prison, a former prison (until 3 years ago) that now serves as an event location. Very special! After prison we visited the National Library and the MO Museum. A delicious lunch was then served at the Radisson Blu Astorija Hotel. With a full stomach we were able to continue to the Uzupis District, a self-named district by the inhabitants of this neighborhood. They have their own constitution here. As if enough had not already been eaten, there was still a wine and cheese tasting on the menu. Less than two hours later dinner was ready in restaurant Pachamama.
Friday morning we flew back to Schiphol satisfied. Vilnius really surprised me! It is a nice, safe and quiet city with a lot of character. Definitely recommended for a city trip of about 2 days and very nice in combination with Riga or Tallinn.”
